2003
- Atlas Systems is founded by Venugopala Chalamala – who continues to lead the company as CEO – and opened offices in the US and India.
- Atlas also celebrated its first client win this year – developing a registrations and licensing application for the finance industry; this app has become a market leader in the US, with over 2 million users.
2004
Atlas began to expand its client portfolio, developing and deploying solutions for several automakers and signing with a leading market intelligence firm.
2005
The company started operations in California and began working with an enterprise software company to develop a new product line.
2006-07
As it continued to grow, Atlas opened a key delivery and operations center in Bangalore, India, and signed a variety of new clients – in health care, automotive, media, and other key industries.
2008-09
Atlas launched its PRIME® solution, delivering gold-standard provider directory management to health plans. The company continue to add clients, in publishing, data analytics, and health care.
2010-11
Atlas is signed to deliver IT infrastructure services to one of the largest international beverages company and also signs new clients in telecommunications, engineering and tech, and data.
2012-13
Atlas launches ComplyScore® – a state-of-the-art TPRM solution to help companies deal with the growing security and governance challenges posed by third-party relationships. The company also expanded its industry focus, signing an insurance company and a behavioral health company.
2014-16
The world’s largest hospitality group engages Atlas for IT support – and other new clients include leading clothing, health insurance, and energy firms.
2017-18
Atlas on-boards one of the world’s largest gaming companies, as well as major players in banking, pharmaceuticals, and hospitality.
2019
Atlas is at the vanguard of the AI revolution as it introduces AInfinity®, a platform for providing AIOps and other solutions. The company also begins supporting new clients in retail and pharma.
2020-22
A major private equity firm chooses Atlas for IT support, and the company adds well-known new clients in retail, private equity, and pharma.
2023
Atlas hires a new Head of AI Practice and begins plans for an AI lab to foster new solutions. The company also develops important new offerings within PRIME, including a rich client dashboard, and starts working with provider groups as well as health plans to develop new network management solutions. Atlas also refreshes its Chennai offices.
